Client Brief:

Punit's brief was clear and comprehensive. He wanted a full home interior makeover for his 3BHK flat in Ghaziabad — covering the living room, master bedroom, kitchen, dining area, pooja room, and all connecting spaces. The client specifically asked for a warm colour palette that still felt fresh and modern. He wanted custom wooden partition units with display shelving that could act both as a room divider and a statement piece. For the living room, he envisioned a comfortable sectional sofa setup with teal/blue tones, decorative wall accents, and mirror work that would add depth to the space. The dining area needed to be elegant yet practical — with a marble-topped dining table, wooden carved chairs, and a separate crockery unit with glass shutters and internal lighting. In the bedroom, the client wanted a luxurious tufted headboard bed with matching green upholstery, complemented by textured wallpaper, a built-in study unit, and overhead storage. The kitchen was to be fully modular with a bold yellow backsplash and ample storage, while the pooja room required a devotional, beautifully lit mandir niche with intricate CNC-cut panel work. Throughout the home, the client wanted consistent use of natural wood tones, designer false ceilings with cove lighting, tasteful wall art, and high-quality laminates.

Design Solution:

We are proud to say that every single requirement Punit shared with us was delivered — and then some. Here is a room-by-room breakdown of what was executed:

Living Room

The living room was designed with a striking teal and ivory colour scheme. We installed a custom-built natural wood bookshelf-cum-partition unit that separates the entrance from the seating area while acting as a curated display shelf. A large sectional sofa in grey upholstery was dressed with vibrant blue and teal cushions, sitting atop polished white tiles. The highlight wall features handcrafted golden sunburst metal art pieces arranged in an eye-catching cluster pattern, giving the room a gallery-worthy feel. A mirrored panel behind the partition adds visual depth and makes the space feel significantly larger. A split air conditioner was neatly integrated into the false ceiling design, and a ceiling fan was installed with a designer finish.

TV Unit & Entertainment Area

A sleek floor-mounted TV unit in dark stone-finish laminate was crafted with a floating panel design, complete with LED backlighting and built-in cable management. Industrial-style cage pendant lights hang from a beautifully designed false ceiling with exposed beam detailing and warm cove lighting — a perfect blend of rustic and contemporary. The feature wall behind the TV was finished with textured stone-effect tiles, adding a luxurious layer to the entertainment zone.

Dining Area

The dining area was given a rich, warm treatment. We designed and installed a solid wood dining table with a marble-look top and paired it with hand-carved wooden chairs that add a traditional Indian character to the space. A full-height crockery unit with glass-panelled shutters and interior lighting sits along the wall, providing ample storage while displaying the family's finest tableware. A stunning lattice-pattern wooden partition divides the dining from the living zone, with matching Madhubani-inspired painted panels as a signature design feature. The false ceiling above the dining table features a custom chandelier and downlighter arrangement that creates a warm, intimate dining atmosphere.

Master Bedroom

The master bedroom was transformed into a luxurious yet cosy retreat. A queen-size bed with a deep olive green tufted headboard in chesterfield style became the centrepiece of the room. The bed frame was finished in white with gold accents, complemented by a colourful floral printed bedsheet that ties the palette together beautifully. A full-height wardobe was installed with green panelled shutters and glossy white laminates for overhead storage. The feature wall behind the bed was done in a rich textured wallpaper with a subtle geometric pattern, giving depth and sophistication. A built-in study desk and display cabinet were added near the window, maximising utility in a compact space. The room was designed to offer both aesthetics and practicality.

Pooja Room / Mandir

This was one of the most emotionally significant parts of the project for the client. We created a beautifully designed mandir niche with an intricately carved CNC-cut panel featuring a divine Goddess motif — backlit with warm white LED lighting that creates a serene, devotional glow. The niche was fitted with a white laminate surface for idol placement and surrounded with clean white panelling to maintain purity and simplicity. The result is a pooja space that is both spiritually meaningful and architecturally stunning.

Modular Kitchen

The kitchen was designed as a fully modular unit with high-gloss shutters, a bold yellow backsplash that brings energy and vibrancy to the cooking space, and a tall unit that houses a large side-by-side refrigerator with integrated panels. Under-cabinet lighting and a clean overhead loft storage system were integrated for both function and aesthetics. The kitchen design maximises counter space and workflow while maintaining a cheerful, modern look.

Main Entrance & Common Areas

The main entrance of the home was given a grand, welcoming treatment with a natural stone-finish door surround, warm recessed lighting, and a beautifully designed main door in classic wood tone. The nameplate was custom-crafted and the entrance landing was finished with slate-effect flooring tiles. Throughout all common areas and corridors, a consistent design language was maintained with golden floral wall art, designer false ceilings with LED strip cove lighting, and uniform flooring — ensuring the home feels cohesive from entrance to end.
